Anatra company
Anatra is a U.S.-based aerospace company developing autonomous cargo UAVs designed to operate in remote, contested, and infrastructure-limited environments. It serves critical defense and commercial logistics needs where traditional aircraft can’t go.
Anatra overview
At Anatra, we build uncrewed cargo aircraft that go where others can’t.
Headquartered in North Carolina’s Research Triangle, Anatra is leading the evolution of aviation logistics with a dual-use fleet of autonomous UAVs designed to operate in the world’s most contested, remote, and infrastructure-limited environments.
Our two flagship platforms—the LC-500 (runway-to-runway) and AC-500 (amphibious)—are built to deliver up to 500 lbs of cargo over 500 miles with zero crew risk. From humanitarian aid to high-stakes defense logistics, Anatra aircraft are rugged, scalable, and production-ready.
With a U.S.-based manufacturing ecosystem and rapid delivery timelines, we’re not just innovating—we’re industrializing. Our mission is to expand global accessibility, empower allies, and help the warfighter—all while creating a new frontier for autonomous logistics.
Because sometimes water is the only runway, and delivery is the only option.
Anatra solves critical logistics challenges in both defense and commercial sectors. We enable autonomous resupply in remote, contested, and infrastructure-denied environments—where traditional aircraft can’t go or are too costly and risky to deploy. Our UAVs reduce reliance on vulnerable runways, eliminate the need for aircrew, and deliver where helicopters and VTOLs fall short on range or payload. We address the military’s need for affordable, attritable platforms that can operate inside enemy weapon zones, support dispersed forces, and ensure agile, multi-mission delivery. In the commercial space, we unlock middle-mile cargo routes to islands, offshore sites, and disaster zones—all with speed, safety, and scalability.
