Batyar

The Batyar is a Ukrainian multi‑role UAV developed by DeepStrikeTech, designed for deep‑strike missions with a range exceeding 800 km. Originally conceived as a kamikaze drone, its modular platform now supports multiple roles, including frontline strike, bomber missions, and electronic decoy — all depending on payload and software configuration.

Built with a lightweight gasoline engine and weighing approximately 60 kg, Batyar can deliver a warhead of up to 18 kg for long‑distance interdiction (e.g. oil depots, logistics hubs), or up to 30 kg for shorter-range (≤ 100 km) frontline operations. Launch options include vehicle- or catapult-based systems, enabling deployment without runway infrastructure.

A standout feature is its resilience: even when damaged during dive maneuvers, Batyar maintains its flight path with high accuracy. This is powered by a sophisticated navigation suite combining a Ukrainian CRPA antenna and an optical navigation module, capable of maintaining course under GPS-denied or electronic warfare conditions. As a lower-cost decoy variant (≈ USD 3,500), the drone can mimic radar returns without full navigation systems, overwhelming enemy air defenses.
