MORFIUS

C-UAS solution

Product descripton: MORFIUS by Lockheed Martin

Product Benefits

The compact airborne system provides extended range and an onboard seeker to help relieve sensor requirements for expeditionary systems, allowing it to be compatible with various defense service architectures.

  • Compact Airborne HPM System
  • C-UAS and C-Swarm
  • Joint Force Defense Multiplier
  • Recoverable and Reusable
  • Guidance and Autonomy
  • Enables Long-Range Defeat
  • Rapid Integration with any Fire Control
  • Tube-Launched from any Platform

Designed with a Small Footprint

The drone threat is challenging and rapidly evolving – defensive systems must evolve even faster to combat this threat. Lockheed Martin has worked with multiple services to rapidly develop and prove a key Counter-Unmanned Aerial System capability: MORFIUS.

MORFIUS is a reusable, multi-engagement, loitering, tube-launched interceptor equipped with an onboard seeker and a compact, high-power microwave effector to execute non-kinetic defeat of drones – including complex swarms.

• Enables multi-engagement and swarm defeat at significantly longer ranges than ground-based systems.
• Ability to recover and reuse reduces stowed inventory requirements and cost compared to expendable weapons.
• Proven onboard seeker relieves sensor requirements for expeditionary systems, allowing compatibility with various defense architectures.
• Demonstrated capability to integrate with any command and control network through open interfaces.
• Flexibly designed with the expeditionary force in mind; can be tube-launched from an air, ground or on-the-move vehicle platform.
• Engineered with more than a decade of HPM expertise and supports Integrated Air & Missile Defense mission area as a force multiplier in a layered defense approach.
