Sonda is a multipurpose, professional quadcopter multirotor platform developed and manufactured in Poland by HD Air Studio. It is designed as a flexible and customizable aerial platform capable of supporting a wide range of professional payloads and mission profiles.

Airframe and Portability

The airframe consists of four reinforced carbon fiber arms with a folding mechanism secured by a double locking system, ensuring both structural rigidity in flight and compactness during transport. Thanks to its foldable construction, the Sonda platform is easy to deploy and convenient to carry between operational sites.

Payload Integration and Modularity

Sonda is designed to mount various peripheral devices, including gimbals, sensors, and custom equipment. A built-in damping system located in the central body helps isolate sensitive payloads from vibrations. Optional quick-release payload mounting further simplifies installation and removal of gimbals and sensors.

Avionics Compatibility

The platform supports a broad range of flight control systems, including Pixhawk and DJI autopilots, offering flexibility for different operational ecosystems. An optional FPV WDR camera enables BVLOS-capable operations and assists pilots in maintaining orientation and situational awareness during flight.

Power and Configuration Options

Battery mounting is located on the top of the frame, and the platform supports multiple battery capacities depending on mission requirements. Optional regulated power outputs allow external devices to be powered directly from the drone. Sonda is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance and can be equipped with optional LED navigation lights.

Customization and Supply Format

HD Air Studio supplies Sonda Quad as an empty frame, allowing integrators to select propulsion, avionics, and payload systems best suited to their application. Custom modifications are supported, and detailed drawings and dimensional documentation are available upon request.
