Hector
Product descripton: Hector by ARX Robotics
Hector is a medium-class, software-defined unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed to provide European armed forces with a scalable, mission-ready platform for logistics, reconnaissance, engineering, and combat support operations. Built on the Mithra OS autonomy platform, Hector combines autonomous operation, optional manned driving, and modular payload integration to extend operational reach while reducing risk to personnel.
Engineered for industrial-scale deployment, Hector features an open architecture that enables rapid integration of sensors, effectors, and mission-specific payloads without extensive platform modifications. The vehicle can be operated manually, remotely, or under supervised autonomy, allowing crews to transport the platform to the mission area before transitioning to unmanned operation while maintaining human-in-the-loop control.
The software-defined architecture enables over-the-air updates, fleet-wide capability upgrades, convoy operations, and connected battlefield management. Available with internal combustion or electric powertrain options, Hector can be configured for either high-speed, long-range missions or low-signature, quiet operations depending on mission requirements.
