REAV-45

HydroSurv’s REAV-45 is a midsize, commercial-duty battery-hybrid USV built for multi-day nearshore and coastal hydrographic, geophysical and environmental missions. Optimised for alignment with MGN 705 (M) self-certification, it mirrors the REAV-47’s balance of seakeeping, payload capacity, and transportability.

• Fully welded marine-grade aluminium alloy hull, providing a robust platform with generous payload capacity, clear equipment access and ample space for topside integration.
• Efficient low-emission hybrid power system with a 4kW, 48vDC generator and 12kWh battery capacity, delivering extended endurance with minimal fuel consumption.
• Twin 5kW independently steerable electric outboards with rim-driven propellers, optimised for precise control, shallow-water operation and deployment of towed sensors.
• Multi-day endurance supporting flexible deployment as a self-transiting nearshore survey platform or as a force-multiplier operating from offshore support vessels.
• Optimised for alignment with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) MGN 705 (M) General Exemption, eliminating the need for Workboat Code 3 Certification.
