RedWing VTOL
Product descripton: RedWing VTOL by Griffon Aerospace
The RedWing VTOL is a lightweight, all-electric VTOL UAS designed for mobile operations, simplified deployment, and ease of use. Its four dedicated VTOL motors provide vertical takeoff and landing capability, while a separate forward-flight motor enables efficient fixed-wing cruise.
With a 55 lb maximum gross takeoff weight, up to 15 lb payload capacity, and 2–3 hours of endurance, RedWing VTOL is suited to tactical surveillance, training, and other missions requiring a compact aircraft with minimal launch and recovery infrastructure.
The platform’s payload capacity can accommodate a gimbal, sensors, or additional batteries, allowing operators to balance mission equipment against endurance requirements.

Primary Mission Profiles
Tactical Surveillance
The VTOL/fixed-wing configuration provides a combination of vertical deployment and efficient forward flight for aerial observation and monitoring missions.
Mobile Operations
RedWing can be operated by highly mobile teams with minimal launch and recovery infrastructure, making it suitable for dispersed or austere operating locations.
Training & Operator Development
The platform is designed for ease of operation and can support training activities without requiring complex launch or recovery equipment.
Payload & Endurance Optimization
The available payload capacity can be allocated between gimbaled sensors, other mission equipment, or additional batteries to extend flight endurance.
Communications & Payload Integration
RedWing VTOL supports RFD 900 X and Mesh MIMO radio configurations, with a stated 40 km LOS or greater link range depending on antennas and system settings.
