Founded in 2003, CybAero developed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, including helicopters, ground stations, sensors, and data links.

CybAero was headquartered in Mjärdevi Science Park in Linköping, a key hub for aeronautics in the Nordic region. The company conducted research and development in collaboration with various companies and research institutions. At its peak, CybAero employed approximately 55 people and was listed on NASDAQ OMX First North starting in 2007.

Unfortunately, CybAero filed for bankruptcy in June 2018, marking the end of its operations.
