Elistair is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative tethered drone systems for defense and commercial applications.

Founded in 2014 with offices in France and Boston, Elistair develops tethered UAS (unmanned aerial systems) and powered tethering stations for third-party drones. These solutions turn small multi-rotor vehicles into airborne platforms for persistent surveillance and high-speed telecommunications, allowing military and civilian users alike to make better decisions with enhanced situational awareness.

Elistair’s products have been deployed with militaries, police forces, public security departments and private companies in more than 70 countries around the world. Khronos

All-in-one tethered drone-in-a-box solution

Khronos is an all-in-one drone-in-a-box system that is designed for both fixed and mobile applications. Pairing an advanced quadcopter with a rugged IP54-rated base station, it provides instant aerial intelligence of the surrounding area, and can be deployed without leaving the vehicle.

The tethered drone provides up to 24 hours of persistent operation, with a tether height of up to 60 metres. It can be equipped with a choice of two stabilized EO/IR ISR gimbals, the NDAA-compliant NextVision Raptor or the DragonEye.

Safe-T 2

Ruggedized tethered drone station for demanding operations

Safe-T 2 is an advanced tethered station for UAVs, offering real-time persistent observation and surveillance capabilities at altitudes of up to 100 meters above ground. Compatible with multiple COTS drones including the DJI M350, the system has been approved by the French Civil Aviation Authority, and is the most deployed tether station in the world with over 500 users including the UN and the U.S. Army.

The unit’s ultra-light micro tether provides high-speed data transfer and continuous power of up to 2200W, and is available with optional fiber optic capability.

Ligh-T 4

Portable tethered drone station for first responders

Ligh-T 4 is a rugged mobile tethered drone station that provides persistent overwatch for first responders in the most demanding of environments. Compatible with the DJI M200, Inspire 2 and a wide range of 6S and 12S drones, the system provides continuous power of up to 1500W, at altitudes of up to 70 metres.

The one-person-portable unit is enclosed within a convenient and robust carrying case with a telescopic handle and wheels, and can be prepared for use in less than 5 minutes.
