Software and Hardware for Air Defense Forces

Technary is an Odesa-based engineering bureau developing integrated software-hardware solutions for Ukraine’s air defense, with deep expertise in programming, optics, and electronics.

The company enhances the protection of civilian and military infrastructure from low-flying aerial threats by creating radar-resilient systems that boost the effectiveness of MANPADS, mobile fire teams, and small anti-aircraft artillery.

Technary’s flagship product, the ePPO platform, empowers civilians to report aerial targets in real time through visual or audio input. These reports are mapped and processed to provide localized alerts via the Diia app — helping users avoid the trajectories of incoming drones and missiles.

The company’s hardware developments include Chaika and Chaika-M — immersive simulators for anti-aircraft training and FPV drone defense; Krip, a thermal-imaging mount for MANPADS; Poloz, a laser-thermal station for detecting aerial targets in low-light conditions; and Sova, a night-vision kit designed for covert driving and combat operations.

In 2025, Technary introduced the Mangust (Mongoose) interceptor—an innovative reusable drone designed specifically to counter Shahed-type threats. Developed as a rapid-response solution to loitering munitions, Mangust is already undergoing testing with air-defense brigades, and the company has secured investment to scale its production.

By combining civilian crowdsourcing, military-grade simulation, and next-gen anti-drone tech, Technary strengthens Ukraine’s layered aerial defense ecosystem.
