AAROK MALE UAV
Product descripton: AAROK MALE UAV by Turgis Gaillard
Mission‑Ready MALE Platform
AAROK is a medium‑altitude, long‑endurance unmanned aerial vehicle developed entirely by Turgis Gaillard for French and Allied armed forces. Designed with a multi‑domain approach, it combines robustness, affordability, and combat relevance, enabling deployment in large numbers for high‑intensity operations.
Rugged Design and Operational Flexibility
With a 5.5‑ton maximum takeoff weight and a 22‑meter wingspan, AAROK is compatible with standard NATO airbase hangars while remaining capable of operating from unprepared and unpaved runways. Its reinforced structure allows long‑term outdoor parking and reliable operations in all weather conditions, including known icing.
Endurance and Performance
Powered by a 1,200 hp turboprop engine, AAROK offers more than 20 hours of endurance, cruising speeds above 240 kt (450 km/h), and operational altitudes exceeding FL450. Its payload capacity supports a wide mix of fuel, sensors, weapons, and mission‑specific equipment.
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)
AAROK can monitor vast areas or loiter for extended periods over points of interest. It is equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite, including wide‑area surveillance radar with ranges exceeding 100 km, AIS and SIGINT systems, and high‑performance optronic sensors up to the 25‑inch class. These capabilities make it well suited for maritime surveillance, EEZ protection, SAR, border monitoring, and strategic or tactical intelligence missions.
Precision Strike and High‑Intensity Operations
AAROK is optimized for stand‑off strike missions using 250 kg class guided munitions with high accuracy. Its performance allows engagement of targets from distances beyond most air‑defense threats, supporting missions such as Air Interdiction, Close Air Support, SCAR hunter‑killer operations, and SEAD/DEAD. Future growth includes offensive electronic warfare and jamming capabilities.
Communications Relay and Command & Control
Equipped with the ODIN system, AAROK functions as an airborne communications and C2 relay node. It enhances connectivity across land, air, and maritime forces, overcomes terrain obstacles, and ensures long‑range data transmission to headquarters via satellite communications, strengthening network‑centric operations.
