Hermes 900 Kochav

The Elbit Systems Hermes 900 Kochav (“Star”) is an Israeli multi-payload unmanned aerial vehicle designed for medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) missions. As the successor to the highly successful Hermes 450, the Hermes 900 delivers extended endurance, increased payload capacity, and advanced mission flexibility for modern battlefield requirements. Capable of over 36 hours of continuous flight at altitudes up to 9,100 meters (30,000 ft), it supports a wide range of roles including reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, communications relay, and electronic warfare.

With a 15-meter wingspan and a payload capacity of up to 350 kg, the Hermes 900 can be fitted with a variety of mission systems such as EO/IR sensors, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), ground moving target indication (GMTI), signals intelligence (SIGINT), hyperspectral imaging, and weapon systems. Its robust design, advanced avionics, and modular architecture make it adaptable for both military and homeland security operations.
