HYCOPTER Hydrogen-powered Drone

Hydrogen-electric hexacopter UAV for long-endurance reconnaissance, surveillance, and infrastructure inspection

Product descripton: HYCOPTER Hydrogen-powered Drone by H3 Dynamics

The Hycopter by HES Energy Systems is the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered rotary-wing UAV, integrating advanced hydrogen-electric propulsion for extended flight endurance. Designed for persistent reconnaissance, surveillance, and large-scale infrastructure inspections, the Hycopter delivers over three hours of continuous operation while maintaining a compact and deployable platform. Its robust design supports extreme environmental conditions, high wind resistance, and rapid deployment by a two-person team. The UAV features an open payload bay for multiple cameras and sensors, enabling real-time data acquisition, with optional payload power and parachute capabilities. Navigation is facilitated through GPS, telemetry, and Pixhawk 2 flight control, ensuring precise positioning and automated flight planning. Hydrogen fuel cells provide nominal power of 1,500 W with additional Li-Po battery boost for peak performance, making the Hycopter a reliable and eco-friendly solution for enterprise and defense aerial missions.
