The Iron Drone system is an advanced, patented counter-drone solution designed to defend assets against hostile drones in complex environments with minimal collateral damage. Iron Drone is a fully automated intercepting system designed to neutralize small drones without using GPS or RF jamming. When launched from a designated pod, the intercepting drone flies autonomously towards targets under radar guidance. It then identifies and “locks on” to the target using computer vision capabilities. The intercepting drone follows the target, incapacitates and captures it, and uses a net and a parachute to safely lower it to the ground.

Launch
When a suspicious target is detected by the external drone detection system, the Iron Drone system will launch a RAIDER interceptor to autonomously fly towards the target.
Track
Upon reaching the interception point, the RAIDER will autonomously seek and follow the target drone, using its day/night camera, while providing live video to an operator.
Intercept
Based on real-time video and location, the operator will decide to either escort the suspicious drone away, or to capture it with a ballistic net, lowering it safely to the ground with a parachute.
