M.U.L.E. UAV
M.U.L.E. (Multi-Mission, Utility, Logistics, & Expedition) is a heavy-lift VTOL UAV platform designed to withstand the rigors of highly challenging environments such as mountainous regions and ocean conditions of up to Force 10. With a 40kg carrying capacity, it is optimized for cargo delivery and battlefield logistics, and can also be fitted with EO/IR payloads for long-range and long-duration ISR and RIF missions.
The rugged weatherproof platform features accelerometer-compensated phased radar altimetry and inertial guidance for ultra-reliable performance in highly dynamic environments such as rough seas, as well as a multi-constellation GNSS receiver with anti-jamming and spoofing capabilities. It is powered by a hybrid JP-8/electric powertrain that enables the aircraft to take off, land and perform quiet approaches using only battery power, and also features a 100 kW electrical system and 20 kW APU, as well as fully encrypted radio-agnostic communications.
