Since its 2022 launch, the REAV-28 has become a trusted zero-emission USV for hydrographic survey and environmental monitoring within inland and inshore categorised waters. Its field-proven, shallow-draft catamaran hull and modular construction deliver versatility, configurability and performance across a wide range of applications.
- Modular design approach, featuring demountable demi-hulls and varied hull-spacing from a single platform design.
- Zero-emission, 24vDC battery-electric powertrain with 6kWh capacity, enabling day-works endurance and rapid recharging.
- Twin 2.5kW fixed pod drives with rim-driven propellers, ideally suited for operation in shallow and turbid waters.
- Readily portable with small trailers, and easily launched and recovered from challenging worksites.
- Ideally suited to Line of Sight (LoS) survey operations from the adhoc shorebased control stations, or Remote Operations Centres.
