Stratos

Stratos is a high‑altitude unmanned platform developed by Mach Industries, positioned between traditional UAVs and orbital satellites. Operating at extreme altitudes above conventional air systems, Stratos is designed to carry sensors, communications payloads, and mission effects while remaining within the atmosphere.

The system is intended to provide persistent intelligence, surveillance, and communications relay over wide operational areas, particularly in contested or remote environments. By loitering at very high altitude for extended durations, Stratos enables continuous situational awareness and connectivity where satellite support may be limited, degraded, or vulnerable.

Stratos is envisioned as a theater‑scale ISR and communications node, capable of hosting payloads such as electro‑optical and infrared sensors, radio‑frequency relays, and signals intelligence systems.
