Cannon’s Twin or Tandem Wing design removes the need for a tail plane. The tail plane of a traditional aircraft pushes down in order to balance the nose-heavy, forward orientated, Centre of Gravity (CoG). This negative force can reduce lift by up to 20% and is a constant inefficiency, which reduces payload capacity, increases drag, increases fuel consumption and challenges stability.
