The USV MROS (Multi-Role Offshore Support) is a large autonomous uncrewed surface vessel (USV) currently under development with sponsorship from the UK Department for Transport. Building on the success of the Pioneer USV, the vessel follows the same SWATH-based design philosophy while offering significantly greater speed and substantially increased payload capacity. The platform incorporates an integrated moonpool and is intended to support a wide range of offshore multi-role missions requiring high payload capability.
