Vampire: A Powerful Hexacopter for Precision Strikes
Vampire is a large hexacopter capable of carrying payloads of up to 15 kg at altitudes of up to 400 meters. This allows it to deploy various types of munitions — thermobaric, cumulative, and high-explosive fragmentation — effectively engaging a range of targets, including tanks and other armored vehicles of the Russian armed forces.
Equipped with a thermal imaging camera, Vampire can operate at night. Developers note that detecting and shooting it down in the dark is quite challenging, as Russian forces would need thermal scopes or night vision devices to accurately target it with firearms.
One of Vampire’s key advantages is its ease of operation. According to the developers, their instructors can train operators from scratch in just 3 hours.
