The WAM-V® 8 USV is a compact, portable unmanned surface vehicle designed for operations requiring a transportable sensor platform. It is suitable for Hydrographic Survey, Mine Countermeasures (MCM), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and marine data collection missions.
The platform features an articulating suspension system and compliant hulls that reduce payload movement, providing stability in varying sea conditions. Its lightweight construction, shallow draft, and compact footprint enable operations in environments ranging from open ocean to shallow inland waterways.
Engineered for maximum portability, the WAM-V® 8 can be loaded into a standard pickup truck, disassembled for transport as checked airline baggage, or backpacked to remote locations. The vehicle can be launched and recovered from shore, vessel decks, or trailers, enabling rapid deployment in remote or constrained operating environments.
