X-P5 Fixed-Wing VTOL UAV
The X-P5 is a versatile multi-mission VTOL fixed-wing UAV that can be equipped for cargo delivery or other sensor-enabled missions such as ISR. Powered by a hybrid electric/combustion engine system, it can carry a maximum payload of 23kg for flights of up to seven hours.
The aircraft is based on Pterodynamics’ unique Transwing® technology, which uses an innovative design that folds the wings back against the body during takeoff and landing. This results in a reduced footprint that enables the aircraft to operate in areas where space is at a premium, and also provides enhanced resistance to wind and turbulence.
