North East England (UK) company which develops and manufactures a range of small Unmanned Airborne Systems (sUAS) in the 3kg to 4kg weight range, for a wide range of applications to the commercial and research sectors. We specialise in delivering low cost high spatial resolution optical mapping using a variety of sensors that include visible, Infra Red and thermal. QuestUAV Ltd have also operated their own UAV’s for a variety of survey and research projects. High resolution mapping, coastal and fluvial surveying, post emergency, archaeological, 3D modelling and digital elevation models are the primary basis of this work. The company works closely with a number of Universities and Research Establishments, such as Exeter, Newcastle, Leeds and Northumbria Universities and the Science and Technology Facilities Council, British Antarctic Survey and National Centre for Atmospheric Science. The CEO, Nigel King, is an Honorary Research Associate at Northumbria University and is also a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photographers.
