Ardubee

A compact, fully open-source micro-UAV platform designed for hands-on learning, experimental research, and scalable swarm applications

Product descripton: Ardubee by CubePilot

Ardubee is a miniature unmanned aerial platform created for education, research, and rapid drone development. Built around the CubePilot ecosystem, it integrates the same H7-class flight controller architecture used in professional Cube autopilots, delivering serious computational capability in a compact, accessible form factor.

The platform runs on the ArduPilot open-source autopilot, making it fully compatible with industry-standard tools, workflows, and simulation environments. This allows users to move seamlessly from theory to real-world flight testing, whether they are students learning UAV fundamentals or researchers developing advanced autonomy features.

Ardubee comes equipped with a comprehensive onboard sensor suite, including multiple IMUs, compass, barometer, GNSS, time-of-flight LiDAR, and an integrated camera. These components enable experimentation with navigation, sensor fusion, indoor flight, obstacle detection, and vision-based applications. An ESP32 dual-core Wi-Fi module provides flexible wireless connectivity for telemetry, configuration, and swarm communication research.

With extensive external interfaces and expansion ports, Ardubee is designed for customization and experimentation. It is well suited for STEM programs, university labs, robotics teams, and developers building coordinated micro-drones for research or light-show applications, while remaining closely aligned with real-world UAV engineering practices.
