Why Choose ISS Aerospace?

Experience

Established in 2015, ISS Aerospace built upon over a decade of experience in professional UAV platforms by its founder. Since then, we have designed, built, and operated UAS systems for missions across the globe. Our systems have been deployed to map potential unexploded ordnance in the Middle East, deploy biodegradable wireless seismic geophones in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, measure trace gases in Kurdistan, survey power lines in Saudi Arabia, and rapidly deploy defensive systems at sea and on land.

Expertise

Our leadership team brings decades of operational and management experience across Oil & Gas, Renewables, Built and Natural Environment, Military, and Defence contracting. We possess a unique understanding of the technical and operational requirements for advanced UAS systems. Working closely with clients, we design platforms, develop systems, and plan or operate complex missions.

On the technical front, ISS Aerospace employs experienced aerospace, electronics, and mechanical engineers, along with software engineers specialising in AI, autonomous systems, and visual processing.

Operational Capabilities

ISS Aerospace has accumulated extensive experience operating in challenging environments worldwide. Our solutions are not limited to hardware — we design complete integrated systems capable of tackling complex operational challenges. Key capabilities include:

  • Autonomous and semi-autonomous systems

  • On-board and edge-based data processing

  • RF and GPS-denied navigation

  • Command and control systems

  • Potential field mapping

  • Gas detection and measurement

  • Dedicated ISR payloads and systems

  • Field trials, modelling, and simulation

  • Surveillance and emergency response systems

Advanced Autonomous UAV Design and Operations

Building on our expertise in autonomous systems, ISS Aerospace develops advanced electric and hydrogen-powered UAVs for industrial and defence applications. Our fully autonomous platforms have been deployed globally for missions including mapping, surveying, inspection, and surveillance.

Custom Manufacturing and In-House Production

To ensure top-quality standards, ISS Aerospace performs end-to-end production in-house, covering testing, integration, assembly, and manufacture of structural components. Beyond off-the-shelf systems, we provide bespoke manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and R&D, delivering aerospace-grade UAV platforms and payloads tailored to specific mission requirements.

Hydrogen-Powered Drones

Our UAVs can be equipped with hydrogen fuel cells, enabling up to two hours of flight time. Benefits include extended range, BVLOS capability, rapid refuelling, low maintenance, and environmentally friendly operation with zero harmful emissions.

Payload Integration and Modular Design

Our modular UAVs support diverse payloads, including LiDAR scanners, ground-penetrating radar, imaging sensors, radiation and chemical detectors, magnetometers, and thermal imagers. This flexibility allows adaptation to a wide range of mission requirements.

VTOL and Multi-Mission Platforms

Flagship platforms such as Sensus L and Sensus M feature modular designs and universal payload interfaces, allowing multiple sensors, batteries, and mission-specific equipment. With both hydrogen and Li-Po battery options, precision GNSS navigation, laser altimeters, and tether compatibility, these drones are ideal for industrial inspections, defence applications, and persistent operations.

Global Operational Impact

ISS Aerospace has executed missions worldwide, including Papua New Guinea, the USA, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Chile, and Europe. Projects span seismic deployments, UXO mapping, trace gas detection, photogrammetry, infrastructure inspections, wind turbine surveys, aircraft inspection, and surveillance. By combining autonomous technologies with bespoke payloads and operational expertise, ISS Aerospace enhances safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for clients in Energy, Defence, and Environmental sectors.
